Little Liz

I can’t believe it’s been only 4 days since I was up in Dallas – it feels like months ago. Time is so different right now. I spent the last few days visiting my brother and getting to meet my niece for the first time. She is 6 months old… and adorable as can be. I joke that she is allergic to me, because she cries anytime I hold her. Just me, no one else! We actually made it about one whole minute today before the pouty face started while in my arms. It’s pretty funny actually. She is such a joy to be around – even her cranky face is adorable!

Before Sarah

aaaand After Sarah!

I have moments where it’s hard to watch my brother and sister-in-law in this wonderful new place – because I realize that Drew and I will never have this together. It’s heartbreaking.. but I am still so grateful for this little bundle of joy that has been brought into all our lives. She is a true treasure, and I look so forward to watching her grow. I will also be working on a little wall mural for her bedroom soon… definitely something that has got me excited!
